Spanish Brutalist Oak Highboard, Circa 1970's

About the Item

This stunning large case piece has been crafted in solid oak, an eye catching example of the Spanish Brutalist style. This sideboard cabinet has carved decoration on the door panels, with geometrically arranged squares that are slightly recessed into the wood. The design is slightly hypnotic in nature, for the craftmanship and simplicity. This oak sideboard has been outfitted with wrought iron fittings for the hinges, door pulls, and locks. The dark color of the iron contrasts beautifully against the lighter tones of the oak, giving the piece an overall rustic and dignified appearance. The cabinet doors on this piece are able to be locked, with two keys included. This gives the future owner a sense of security, with the ability to lock away one's valuable with ease. This is a vintage piece with some subtle signs of wear that are consistent with use.
