Hand crafted Brutalist Giuseppe Rivadossi sideboard in oak Italy, the 1970s. A fantastic oak sideboard by the Italian sculptor and designer Giuseppe Rivadossi featured a high level of craftsmanship in woodwork. This sideboard featured contains a built-in shelve and two drawers. The door panels and drawers feature spheroidal cutouts, counting a tremendous rhythmic and haptic surface to the front, giving this distinctive harmony aesthetics Rivadossi is known for this graphical visualization is intensified by the oakwood possessions, which show vivid wood grains—an excellent article established by intensive hand-planed and festooned finishes. Giuseppe Rivadossi (1935) was born in Monteclana di Nave, Italy, where he still lives and works. At a young age, Rivadossi's direction begins with wood carving, with works reflecting his poetic idea of living. In 1962 Rivadossi took over the carpentry founded in 1920 by his father Clemente, which he transformed into an atelier, or rather an innovative workshop. Eventually, Rivadossi and collaborators established 'Officina Rivadossi' in 1976, where he started the manufacture of wooden objects and unique modern furniture.
