About the Item

Desk model BM-66 designed by Børge Mogensen. Produced by P. Lauritsen & Søn in Denmark, ca late 1950s-1960s. Made from teak wood on the table top and drawers. Inside of the drawers in solid oak with adjustable interior. Fold out custom handle hardware in brass with beautiful patina. Two extra leaves that fold out from the top of the drawers. Very good vintage condition with some signs of patina from age and use. A very classical functionalist piece by one of Denmarks most iconic designer during the 20th century, Børge Mogensen. The straight lines and functional features was Mogensens signature and his undeniable demand for the highest quality in regards to material and craftsmanship.
