About the Item

Dining table designed by the design-duo Afra and Tobia Scarpa. Italy, Maxalto, 1975. Large round table with black inlay, solid walnut edges with black wooden inlays. These edges became iconic for this table series and still look absolutely fantastic today. Square wooden base with vertical black inlay and metal detail on the bottom edge. The table leg is reinforced with the original Maxalto concrete weight, to give the table stability and to keep it into place. The Artona series was one of the first product lines to be released by the newly set up high-end division of B&B Italia, focusing exclusively on the production of artisanal, and mostly wooden furniture. SHIPPING: Please note, the shipping price does not include the cement weight!
