About the Item
The sweetest pair of "Big Eye" paintings of a girl and boy. The wide eye little girl looks to her right and wears a blue dress with red socks. The barefoot boy looks straight at the viewer with a blue button down shirt, baggy pants with a sling shot in his back pocket. The painting of the girl is signed lower right and dated lower left, Paris, 1964. The signature appears to read J. Alissni.
Good overall condition with no visible tears, rips, punctures or restorations. Some crazing of the surface paint due to age. Some minor areas of paint loss. Cosmetic wear and losses to the frames and fading and wear to the painted matte.
Each canvas measures approximately 1" deep x 12.13" wide x 24.13" high.
