Antique framed coat of arms plaque is an interesting artifact that will make a splendid decorative touch to any masculine decor. Such memorials were produced to honor the passing of a notable member of a guild or prominent member of a particular community. This work indicates noble lineage, indicated by the crown, knight's helmet, and pair of emblematic symbols including a banner and lion. The date of the commemoration is translated as the 9th of November, 1933 which is the date this work was produced by the artist signed A. DeGreef. Survives in its original simply molded frame with gold highlighting.
