Large Rare Vintage 1940’s Artist Ruben Kupur Oil painting of Art Deco Tropical scene with herons within a scene of lush tropical orchids.
Ruben Kupur was born In the Russian Federation In 1887 and set up an art studio in Chicago, Illinois in 1923.
This is a moody, evocative large scaled oil and unlike the kitschy gouaches that were made for sales, this is a fully rendered oil in his High Art Deco Style. Original white washed frame with gilt Greek Key interior border.
Frame Measures 35" x 39" high and is 3.25" wide.
