A very unique and powerful true pair of French 19th century Neo-Classical st. Ormolu and Ebony wall plaques. Each most decorative plaque is set within a think Ebony frame displaying a mottled edge. Both Ormolu plaques showcase a handsome mythological Griffin. Each Griffin is shown in a seated pose with one paw raised as if greeting the other.
