This original painting was done by the well known James L. Keirstead of Canada in 1988 in his signature realistic style. The painting is titled: The Summers Place and depicts a rustic country clapboard homestead in Chaffeys Locks. The painting is clearly signed in the lower left corner and again on the back in marker, along with the title, place and date of the artwork with a gallery label. The dimensions posted below refer to the framed painting, and from the front, the painting measures twenty nine and a half inches wide by nineteen and a quarter inches in height.
