Done in England in the middle of the Victorian Period, this very substantial original oil painting on canvas is done by noted British artist Claude Hayes. The painting depicts a marsh scene in the foreground with a woman walking along a pathway of the pasture with cows in the background. The painting is done in an Impressionistic style and clearly signed in the lower right corner "Claude Hayes".
