About the Item
Kirk Tatom was one of the foremost carvers of stone in Santa Fe for nearly 20 years who changed from stone carving to successful artist in 1997.
Oil on panel depicting the silhouette of a soaring Saguaro cactus in the foreground, smaller succulents along the bottom and set against hazy mountains in the distance.
Signed lower right.
Presented in a custom carved gilt frame more than likely made by the artist himself.
The painting with an adhered label on verso and a gallery label on the wire.
The original price of the artwork $2200 on label.
