Large Oil on Canvas of a Vivid Provence Landscape

About the Item

A sun-drenched provençal landscape is brought vividly to life in this large 20th century post- impressionist style oil-on-canvas. Undulating hills in the distance provide an evocative backdrop for clusters of white-painted, red-roofed houses, nestling amid groves of blossoming fruit trees and fertile fields. The painting is signed in its lower right-hand corner, but the signature is unfortunately illegible. A simple but elegant giltwood frame completes the picture.
