Hudson river school, oil on canvas. A Naïve work (19th century), mountain landscape with waterfall, oil on canvas, unsigned.
The canvas with typical wear and surface dirt, light stretcher wear and frame abrasion. There is a small compression to the canvas in the upper left quadrant which has inpainting. The giltwood frame with rubbing, small losses and touch-up.
A calm and charming painting in cared for mostly original condition. Size unframed, 20 wide, 160high, framed in original gilt wood frame, 24 by 20.
