The painting is painted in oil on canvas by an unknown French artist of the 19th century showing the plein-air-style typical for the French School of Barbizon. The painting is framed with a beautiful finely carved and hand painted Impressionism frame which gives the scene even more depth. Size of the canvas: 44 cm (17.32 in.) x 36 cm (14.17 in.).
