Beautiful engraving by Joachim Jan Oorman after a painting by Rembrandt entitled "The woodcutter's family" in which we see a mother carrying her young child in her arms on the left, the father holding an ax on the right and a cat on the ground. Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn, commonly known as Rembrandt, born in 1606/1607 in Leiden and died in 1669 in Amsterdam, was a painter of the Dutch school.
