This old mutual/European cut diamond solitaire pair is a phenomenal princely design. The diamond pair of 3.67 carats is an antique 58 facets cut without the precision of the modern regular cut we get today, thereby acting as its predecessor of sorts. This cut possesses the special characteristic of a high crown, small table, and a large, flat culet. The cutting technique is primarily from the 1800s era and was used mostly during the Victorian, Edwardian, and Art Nouveau periods.
The solitaire pair enclosed in the white gold casket is ingeniously covered by immaculately checkered square-cut argon green emeralds creating the letter W from all sides taking back to the anglo-saxon period with nicely pave set round diamonds filling in the space and creating this sensational art-deco style earring pair.
