Crown Jubilee Diamond Tiara Encrusted with Diamonds Weighing 16.67ct
About the Item
Crown Jubilee® Diamond has crafted this diamond encrusted Tiara for the socialite and collector. The total diamond weight of this Tiara is 16.67ct. The center diamond is a Round Crown Jubilee® Diamond. The Crown Jubilee® is a reclaimed diamond that was originally an old European cut that has been refashioned by a master diamond cutter. This diamond has no table with a fully faceted top, as well as flower petal facets at the pavilion (back). The facet arrangement gives this diamond a tremendous amount of sparkle. The pear shape diamond at the top center weighs 1.24ct and the two side pear shape diamonds weigh 1.31ct total. All three pear shapes have good spreads and look much larger than their actual weight. There are 645 round diamonds plus 14 rose cut diamonds weighing 13.04ct total.

Castellani® commissioned to have this 20.64ct sapphire be hand carved as an intaglio of the mythical character Neptune /Poseidon. Neptune was to the Ancient Romans the god that controlled the waters, winds and storms. The Ancient Greeks called him Poseidon.
The hand carving shows the subject’s face, hair and eyes in very great detail. This large natural sapphire is Sri Lanka origin and No Heat, devoid of any enhancement. All gemological information is on a GIA Gemological Report. The GIA classifies the shape as an Oval Intaglio. The cornflower blue color and the sapphire’s crystal transparency lets the carving be seen easily and is very noticeable.
