Located in New York, NY
Rare Circa 1890s IMPERIAL RUSSIAN Faberge Diamond Green Guilloche Enamel 14k Rose Gold Egg Drop Earrings The Fabergé egg earrings, which were created by imperial court jeweler Carl Fabergé's artisans in the late 19th to early 20th century, a unique and extremely rare a pair, featuring 14K Rose Gold, Diamonds & Green Guilloche Enamel Drops. In 1886, Fabergé was given an annual commission by Czar Alexander III to produce eggs for the Imperial family. These eggs were intricately designed and crafted using materials such as gold, silver, enamel, precious stones, and semi-precious stones and they become a sensation. EVERYONE wanted them! Not only were these eggs made for the Russian nobility, but also for European elite and Fabergé's own shops. These exquisite 1890s Russian Imperial Faberge earrings in 14k Rose Gold, crafted with very fine bright green guilloche enamel and old cut diamonds, capturing the timeless elegance of 19th century symbolism. In essence such eggs symbolize life, rebirth, and love. As such they can convey a coded, intimate, and loving message.. These earrings, a testament to Faberge's unparalleled artistry, not only showcase the beauty of the natural world but also carry the rich symbolism and history associated with this enduring icon. Bows incrusted with 19 Diamonds on top (each earrings): 7- 1.90mm, 12-1.33mm and 4 Diamonds on the drops (each earrings): 1-2.25mm, 3-1.25mm. Antique Butterfly Rose Cut Diamond Ruby Pearl Pendant Brooch Necklace Victorian
Located in New York, NY
This is a spectacular antique Victorian - Belle Epoque Butterfly Pendant or Brooch set throughout with Rose Cut Diamonds, Pearls and Rubies in a gorgeous open work design in Silver atop 14 Karat Yellow Gold. This is one of the most beautiful Butterfly Insect jewels we have seen. The Butterfly has a detachable brooch pin on the reverse which can be easily unscrewed to convert the jewel to a pendant necklace. The Butterfly is set throughout its wings with Rose Cut Diamonds. Each diamond is set within its own open work section. The sections are then combined into a fully three dimensional butterfly with exquisite craftsmanship and artistry. In the center of the body are four stunning silvery white pearls which may be natural. The eyes of the insect are two round Ruby cabochons. The diamonds and pearls are set in silver as was the custom of the period in order to show off the diamonds to greater brilliance. The butterfly wings are masterworks of jewelry making and diamond setting. The extraordinary jewels are all set "a jour" - open backed - so that the light is allowed to filter through the gems and make them sparkle with the wonderful quality we love in the antique jewels. This whimsical butterfly dances delightfully around the neck or across the body and creates a conversation piece to be passed on for generations. And insect inspired jewels are all the rage today. And here we have the magnificent butterfly with the exquisite gems and delicate design - how rare! The Victorians were absolutely enamored with nature and insects and created jewels as well as sculptures of the fascinating creatures. These antique butterfly gems...

Chinese Antique Qing Carved "Mutton Fat" Nephrite Plaque Pendant Certified
Located in Southbury, CT
Elegant, rare, and dating to the late Qing period (circa 1890s), this hand-carved nearly colorless white nephrite plaque has been etched on both sides. One one, the Chinese mythological figure known as Zhang Guo Lao is depicted riding a mule. On the opposite side, a magpie sits on a branch of cherry blossoms. The magpie is associated with intelligence. The carving is breathlessly simple and excellent; the work executed -of course- without the aid of electricity or modern tools. Measuring 42.54mm x 29.92mm, the plaque has a hole drilled through the center, which is original to the piece. A silver bail is threaded through the hole and a pair of beads -black jade and coral- reside at the bottom. The jade plaque hands from a 1920s silver chain that is 32" in length. Prior to the discovery of and appreciation for the very fine green jadeite from Burma, colorless, opaque, pure white nephrite jade from the Northern mountains of China was the most revered jade; the original "imperial jade, as only members of the royal court could wear or even touch it. Most of what is commercially sold today as "mutton fat...

Imperial Topaz & Pearl Gold Ring Certified Untreated, London, 1843 Size 10.5
Located in Southbury, CT
This vivid pink imperial topaz ring -hand-crafted in England over 180 years ago- is one of the rarest and most unapologetically regal rings you will ever encounter. A size 10.5 ring, it was originally created for a man. But could of course be worn by anyone today. In the era this ring was created, men wore pearls. And no man would feel uncomfortable wearing a flashy pink gemstone because there is absolutely no other gemstone that looks like this. Topaz is a common gemstone and is typically white. It is irradiated to achieve its popular blue and pink colors. But naturally pink topaz is not common. It is in fact exceedingly rare, considerably rarer than diamonds. And this particular natural pink topaz gem is vividly saturated. It flashes purple. Having reviewed images of the pink imperial topaz necklace and earrings King Charles presented his wife, Queen Camilla...
