About the Item
This is a Victorian Etruscan Revival locket pin brooch crafted in 15K yellow gold.
The piece has an eight pointed royal blue enamel work star. Bead set in the center is a round natural pearl.
On the back there is a space with a removable framed glass panel.
In Victorian times, the star motif was extremely popular. It reminded the jewelry wearer that there is always a need to have direction in life.
There is an erosion on the edge near the needle (shown in photo).
