This beautifully made ring by VCA features a curved dome design with three rows of beautifully set Pavé diamonds going halfway around the band.
The diamonds are of excellent quality. Fine jewellery houses like Van Cleef & Arpels only use the finest diamonds and gemstones in their jewellery and this piece is no exception.
Approx. 0.65 carat total with excellent cut, clarity and colour. VVS E/F.
The band measures 2.3-4.8mm in width with the diamonds being approx. 1-1.5mm.
The ring is signed VCA 750 with serial numbers and French gold hallmark. A very rare vintage piece.
Comes with original sales certificate from Van Cleef in 1997...

Created in the late 1930s by Van Cleef & Arpels Paris, this Burma sapphire and diamond ring is mounted in platinum. The ring centers three vertically-set cushion-cut sapphires, weighing 1.96, 1.21, and 1.20 carats, flanked by two canted rows of calibré-cut sapphires mounted on either side of an domed step, and arched shoulders set with graduating round-cut diamonds. Densely set with royal blue Burma sapphires, and rich in artistic impact, this streamlined masterpiece by Van Cleef & Arpels is a statement of sculptural monumentality in miniature.
