The 0.49 carat Old European round cut diamond is held in relief in a eight claw / prong pierced decorated, elevated basket setting embellished with a fluted border.
The bifurcating elevated, pierced decorated ring shoulders blend seamlessly with the plain 18k yellow gold hallmarked shank.
The exterior of the shank is clearly hallmarked with the French eagle's head and dog's head.
This vintage solitaire engagement ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading certificate.
Condition
This 1940s engagement ring is fine quality set with a very high color graded old cut diamond. The vintage solitaire ring is a very good gauge of gold and is in excellent condition with clear French hallmarks to the exterior of the shank.
