This rare and unique Art Deco engagement ring presents an opulent IGL certified, 5.28 carat, old european cut diamond within its original handmade platinum setting.
The diamond is certified to an impeccable VVS2 clarity, which is unusual in a diamond of this size and age.
Six curving, split claws secure the diamond within its ornately pierced gallery, which bears a period-indicative heart motif.
Raised shoulders supported by cheniers, each grain set with a trio of old european cut diamonds lead to a tapering shank to complete this circa 1920s heirloom quality antique jewel.
