About the Item

Sterling silver round tray by Georg Jensen Denmark, circa 1928. Pattern # 529, created by long-time Jensen designer Johan Rohde, this large round tray features a lightly hammered finish, rectangular handles adorned with silver beads on each side of the handles. Perfect for drinks or a tea set. Hallmarks date this piece to 1925-1932. Measures approx 15" in diameter, 17 1/8" wide from handle to handle. Weighs approx 1724g, 1109dwt, 55.5toz. Marked GEORG JENSEN in a crowned dotted circle STERLING 529 DENMARK GI 925 S in dotted oval. Very nice condition with some light tarnish and slight surface scratches. Deeper scratches on the bottom underside of the tray. Will come packaged in a gift box or pouch (when possible) and will be shipped US Priority Mail with insurance. CL091823/17KCS
