Set of 4 Franklin Mint sterling silver Christmas Carol ornaments from 1972, 1973, 1974 and 1979, with boxes.
From the "Christmas Carol" collection started in 1971, each ornament features a medal at the center of a 7 point star on a red acrylic disc hanging from a chain. The medal and the star are coated in a fine transparent acrylic coating which prevents tarnishing. All 4 includes an original box.
The 1972 edition features the song The First Noel. The medal is sculptured with "The First Noel" and an angel on one side, "Born Is The King of Israel" and "1972" with the three wise men with an angel on the other side.
The 1973 edition features the song O Come All Ye Faithful. The medal is sculptured with "O Come All Ye Faithful" with the three wise men on one side, "Joyful and Triumphant" and "1973" in a wreath of angels on the other side. Includes COA.
The 1974 edition features the song Hark! The Herald Angels Sing...
