Plate Bowl Centerpiece Tableware Platter Decorated Wall Dish Majolica Painted
By deBlona
Located in Recanati, IT
This exclusive ceramic plate is handmade and hand-painted in Italy following the original Renaissance painting technique, unchanged over time, which we observe to the letter: it is decorated in majolica hand-painted in duotone of black and golden yellow, showing an elegant decorative motif of the Deruta tradition which is inspired by a tile found in a local church and suitably reworked in a modern key. The wide brim, with a raised edge and profiled with a finely painted modular ornament, is characterized by an extensive decorative border band where the traditional peacock feather motifs are represented, decorated with delicate shades of golden yellow shaded with cerium white. Naturalistic decorations are depicted inside the large cable, arranged in specular and radial symmetry which branches off from a central hexagonal element and articulates around the circumference, forming elegant golden yellow raceme motifs that stand out against a black background. Our majolica plate can be used as a fancy centerpiece or it can be hung as a decorative wall dish...

Dark Wood Cheese Tray with Faux Bamboo Handles and Ceramic Knife
Located in Auribeau sur Siagne, FR
Dark Wood Cheese Tray with Faux Bamboo Handles and Ceramic Knife – Mid-20th Century
Description:
This is a decorative cheese tray crafted in dark-stained wood, featuring light wood handles shaped in the style of faux bamboo, lending the piece a refined and organic touch. The serving surface is protected by a removable glass or plastic cover, offering a hygienic and elegant presentation area for cheeses or hors d’oeuvres.
On one side of the frame, there is a dedicated groove that holds a cheese knife, matching the tray in both style and material. The knife handle is made of ceramic, adorned with faux bamboo detailing, echoing the motif of the tray’s handles for a unified aesthetic.
This piece is not only highly functional, ideal for serving cheeses at the table, but also visually striking, making it a wonderful decorative object in a rustic, French provincial, or eclectic kitchen setting.
Key features:
Mid-century cheese serving tray
Dark wood base with faux bamboo handles in lighter wood
Serving surface with a protective top (glass/acrylic)
Built-in knife compartment holding a ceramic-handled cheese knife
Elegant combination of natural wood tones and faux bamboo styling
