About the Item

A huge, rare, and authentic Chinese Kangxi porcelain plate or shallow dish from the early Kangxi period of the 17th century, hand-decorated with flowers on the underside of the rim and hand-painted in Canton blue and white with the Aster flower pattern. Featuring a double-circle mark with an Artemisia leaf at the base. The Artemisia leaf mark during the period of Kangxi (1662–1722). China was experiencing unrest from the early Qing dynasty to the early 1680s, during which time the usage of reign marks on porcelain and the production of imperial products were both prohibited in different ways. Take into account that the colors on the items may vary depending on the type of lighting and the type of screen from which you see the images.
