Small D Shape Carved Stone Weathered Sandstone Planter Bonsai Pot
Located in Llanbrynmair, GB
Discover the timeless beauty of this antique carved stone planter. An early piece, circa 1900, the piece showcases the rich, natural patina that develops over a lifetime. The gentle curved D-shape and irregular surface create a striking, sculptural silhouette that complements both modern and traditional decor. The natural stone has developed a beautiful texture and natural lichen over time, adding to its raw, earthy elegance. The D-shaped design makes it perfect to put against a wall or as a standalone piece, ample room to display your favourite plants, succulents, or fresh herbs. Whether placed indoors or out, this planter adds a zen-inspired, nature-infused accent with its unique character and charm. Durable enough for outdoor use, or if preferred to use inside, this antique planter brings a touch of the outdoors in. The planter appears to have a small drainage hole, if using indoors, care sound be taken to ensure no leakage or staining from the planter. Embrace the beauty of perfect imperfection and the quiet elegance of nature with this organic stone planter...

Brass Arts And Crafts Jardiniere By Henry Loveridge & Co.
By Henry Loveridge & Co.
Located in Lincoln, GB
Brass Arts and Crafts Jardiniere by Henry Loveridge is a truly remarkable piece that showcases both exquisite design and exceptional craftsmanship. This heavy quality jardiniere, which may have originally served as a coal helmet, stands elegantly on three shapely legs, adding a touch of sophistication to any space. The chunky ring handles not only provide practicality but also contribute to the overall aesthetic appeal of the piece. Adorned with a bold band of roundels around the top, this jardiniere exudes a sense of grandeur and timeless beauty. Stamped underneath, this jardiniere is a testament to the attention to detail and superior quality that Henry Loveridge is renowned for. The company, which originated in 1840, quickly established itself as one of the largest japanners in the country during the 19th century. Initially specializing in japanware made from papier mache and tin, Loveridge's adapted to the changing market by expanding into copper and brassware as the demand for japanning declined. Unfortunately, no records or catalogs from the company have been discovered, making it necessary to rely on archaeological findings to piece together the history of Loveridge's. While it is unclear whether all of Loveridge's products were marked with a maker's mark, it is likely that only a fraction of their mass-produced items were labeled. Prior to the late 19th century, it was uncommon for trade or other marks to be placed on such items. However, a few japanned pieces and a cast iron cooking pot...
