EXQUISiTE ANTIQUE RESTORED HAND CARVED GRANDFATHER CLOCK CASE DEPICTING A KING
Located in West Sussex, Pulborough
Royal House Antiques
Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this one of a kind, fully restored, hand carved antique English longcase grandfather clock case depicting a King’s Sovereign portrait
Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, it covers within the M25 only for the UK and local Europe only for international, if you would like an accurate quote please send me your postcode and I’ll provide you with the exact price
What a find, I purchased this piece maybe 8-10 years ago and it has sat waiting all this time for restoration, whomever removed the clock movement did so with little care and damaged the top of the piece, as such it has been fully restored to gallery condition and is now ready to accommodate a new movement
I saved this piece because clearly the carving is very old and was conducted by an exceedingly fine craftsman, the Sovereign portrait of a King is very Regal and adds a sense of occasion to such a piece, the case is also decorated with what looks like English Tudor Rose...
