"Spring Morning" is a minimalist landscape painting depicting subtle shifts of color in a cloud covered sky. The clouds take on hues of blue and grey with a softness that only comes with the stillness of the scene. The calm water reflects the beautiful sky. This small surreal landscape shows a line of row houses that are exaggerated and seemingly floating off the panel on which they are painted along with what seem to be seeds from the over sized plant. The two figures depicted are central to the composition - one on the phone and one with his back toward the viewer but we wonder what they are doing.
