This is such an incredible lithograph by master printmaker, Garo Zareh Antreasian c1977. We aren’t sure if the artwork is better than the beautiful shadow box frame or vise versa. Our expert framer floated this piece perfectly in a custom made shadow box frame. The wood used which is mainly black, but has thin streaks of silvery grey (almost metallic feel) that picks up in the grey gradient lines throughout the artwork. *Note this is not an edition, which makes this more valuable, and collectable. In our opinion, after looking at his body of work, we think this is probably the best piece he did. The execution on this is just incredible. Signed in pencil, embossed with the artist’s cipher, and dated.
The print itself is in perfect condition with no flaws, anything you see in the photos is a reflection from the lights when we photographed it. This was just framed so it’s flawless.
Garo Zareh Antreasian (1922-2018) was born in Indianapolis, printmaker Garo Zareh Antreasian helped to promote the art of lithography among American artists during the 1960s and 1970s. He studied printmaking with Will Barnet in New York. During the 1950s, while teaching at the John Herron Institute in Indianapolis, he began to produce color lithographs.
Throughout his career, Antreasian has been a very active member of the Tamarind Lithography Workshop. The workshop was established in 1960 to train lithographers...

These vintage prints are signed and dated in the printing process but do not have original pencil signatures. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that these are vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. These prints remain in their original of-the-era frames, mats and backing. New brown paper has been applied to the back of frames. We found no scratches or nicks to the prints themselves. Frames may show some age. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Circa, 1955 & 1956.

OOOH LA LA!!!!! Is there anywhere in the world quite as lovely as the city of Paris? It’s definitely a bucket list destination for many people and we have a treat for you! Exquisite scenes of Paris created by French artist Bernard Buffet to display in your own home! We have two mid-century modern unsigned lithograph prints consisting of a larger print of a scene titled “St. Martin Canal” dated 1956, matted inside a lovely black and silver painted wood frame. And a smaller print of a scene titled “France Le Port de La Rochelle” dated 1955, matted inside a wood frame. These mats and frames are original to the prints. The St. Martin Canal is located in the heart of the city just adjacent to the Seine River and today is a popular tourist destination. Can’t you just see yourself standing upon that bridge with the breeze blowing your hair as you gaze upon the beautiful “City of Lights??” Or maybe you would prefer walking along the harbor watching boats come to port as they sail in off of the Atlantic Ocean? That’s exactly what you can imagine as you gaze upon “France Le Port de La Rochelle!” La Rochelle is a city on the west coast of France and a seaport on the Bay of Biscay. Both of these scenic areas are breathtaking, and Buffet captured their beauty with his proficient Expressionist style!!! This lithograph is autographed by both the Legendary Golf Champion John Daly and pencil signed by the artist Donald Voorhees, Artist.

The 1991 PGA Championship was the 73rd PGA Championship, held August 8–11 at Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel, Indiana, a suburb north of Indianapolis. John Daly won the first of his two major titles, three strokes ahead of runner-up Bruce Lietzke.
Daly, age 25, was quite arguably the most unforeseen major champion in modern history. He was the ninth alternate who only qualified after several others pulled out of the tournament. Nick Price withdrew for the birth of his first child and Daly hired his caddy, Jeff "Squeaky" Medlin. Daly's outgoing personality and "grip it and rip it" style of play made him an instant fan favorite. The PGA Championship was his first tour victory.
This wonderfully collectible lithograph would make a great gift.
Donald Voorhees has been recognized from coast to coast for his outstanding contribution to art and is the recipient of over 100 awards from such prestigious organizations as the Hudson Valley Art Association, the Salmagundi Club of New York City and the New Jersey Water Color Society. He has been cited for his work by the State of New Jersey.
The artist's works have been shown in museums throughout the country, including the Frye Museum, Seattle, Washington; the Edward Dean Museum, Cherry Valley, California; the Central Museum of Wyoming; and the Martello Museum, Key West, Florida. He has exhibited with the American Watercolor Society, Allied Artists, Knickerbocker Artists, New Jersey Water Color Society, Hudson Valley Art Association, Salgamundi Club, National Academy of Design, and the National Art Club.
His works are owned by many banks, corporations and public institutions througout the country including Sun Oil, Gannett Publications, Citibank, Hertz, Pfizer Drug and Bethlehem Steel.
