Her paintings have been included in many prominent exhibitions including the Young Contemporary Show at the Royal Academy of Art in London, and The Oxford Museum. Francis’ work has also been shown at the Manny Silverman Gallery in Los Angeles and The Bernard Jacobson Gallery in New York.

Margaret Francis
Margaret Francis is the widow of famous Abstract Expressionist artist Sam Francis. Margaret received her degree in fine arts from the Winchester School of Art in England and her higher degree in fine arts from the Chelsea College of Art in London. Her paintings have been included in many prominent exhibitions including the Young Contemporary Show at the Royal Academy of Arts in London, and Modern Art Oxford. Francis’s work has also been shown at the Manny Silverman Gallery in Los Angeles and Bernard Jacobson Gallery in New York.
