Born and raised in Houston, KRISTIN MOORE began attending art classes at the Glassell School at a young age. She moved to Austin in 2009 to obtain her BA in Art from St. Edward’s University. Soon after graduating, Moore moved to Los Angeles to pursue her MFA at Otis College of Art + Design. Moore’s first solo exhibition, Rear Window, was unveiled during the culmination of her participation in the MFA program in 2016.
Upon moving back to Texas, Moore continued to explore contemporary landscapes through painting. The juxtaposed architecture of LA, the smoggy atmosphere, and unique characteristics of the city became source material for her work. Upon moving back to Texas in 2016, Moore viewed Austin through the same lens; the architecture is quickly changing, a new atmosphere is emerging, and the skyline is directly reflecting those elements. Oscillating between these two bustling cities of Austin & LA, lies the open space and peaceful landscape of Marfa. Texas. Often a favorite pit stop during the long road trips back and forth from Texas to California, Marfa holds space as a source of continued inspiration for Moore.
Her Texas roots and California influence have culminated into her current body of work. Often inspired by Ed Ruscha’s work Every Building on the Sunset Strip and A Few Palm Trees, Moore sources the images that influence her paintings from her many car rides, walks, and hikes up to overlooks. A homage to Hollywood, Moore also finds visual influence for her work in the world of film; particularly from visionaries such as Stanley Kubrick, Ridley Scott, and Alfred Hitchcock.

Janet Jennings is known for her luminous oil & watercolor paintings. After working for Lawrence Rubin at Knoedler Contemporary Art, Jennings maintained a studio at Waverly Studios in New York City. She began as a Color Field painter, working on canvas and linen. Janet moved to Amagansett, NY in 1981 and switched her focus to landscape painting. Her career path led her to teach at The Parrish Art Museum, Guild Hall & The Victor D’amico Institute of Art. From 1993 to 1998, she was the Chair of the Andy Warhol Visual Arts Preserve Program. Jennings maintains ties to the art community as an educator and curator. She is a member of the East Hampton Arts Council, an advocacy group for performing and visual artists of East Hampton. Ms. Jennings maintains a painting studio in East Hampton and currently teaches oil and watercolor classes. In 1997, she was a founding member of CMEE, The Children’s Museum of the East End. Working with Lee Skolnick and JoAnn Secor, she was an exhibit designer and fabricator for “Time and Place, Light and Space”, the initial installation at Guild Hall, which launched CMEE. She was a lead designer for the permanent exhibition installation of CMEE, located in Bridgehampton, NY. Jennings received her BFA from the University of Dayton and attended The Dayton Art Institute, Antioch College and The Art Students League. Her paintings are in numerous corporate and private collections worldwide. Born in El Callao, state of Bolívar, in 1939.
He studies at the School of Plastic and Applied Arts of Caracas in 1955-59, with such teachers as: Rafael Ramón González, Marcos Castillo, Pedro Angel González, Juan Martín Durbán, Juan Vicente Fabbiani and Alejandro Otero. In 1959 he is granted the Rome Prize of the 20th Venezuelan Official Art Salon. He travels to Paris in 1960, to study at the Higher School of Fine Arts of Paris, while taking simultaneous courses in Art Sociology at La Sorbonne University under the prestigious professor Pierre Francastel. In 1960 he obtains the Antonio Esteban Frías Prize, Official Art Salon, Caracas, and in 1961, the First Prize of the Annual Golden Fish Salon, Caracas. After returning from Paris, in 1962-64, he is incorporated to the teaching staff of the Armando Reverón School of Plastic Arts of Barcelona. In 1963 he participates in the “Three Awarded Young Men” show at the Mendoza Hall. Along with Manuel Espinoza, he is co-founder of the Experimental Art Center (CEA) of the University of the Andes (ULA), where he teaches drawing and painting and heads the center of painting technology from 1964 to 1968. In 1968 he enters the State School of Fine Arts of Berlin, in Germany, under Professor Hans Trier. In 1972 he takes part in the “Latin American Artists” exhibition carried out at the Museum of Modern Art of Paris.
