Emily Persson is a Melbourne based artist who has been creating oil paintings with a palette knife for three years. Emily is a multi-generational artist with roots in Brisbane, Australia.
Although an avid hobbyist painter her whole life, Emily found her style and her new career in 2016 when she began painting landscape, seascape and floral still-life paintings inspired by her surrounds in Queensland. Biography: Keller Adolphe was born on June 21 in 1880 in Brussels. He was a post-Impressionist painter of genre scenes and flower still lifes, but with a preference for landscapes. He was also draughtsman, watercolourist and pastelist.
He studied at the Academies of Fine Arts in Brussels and Sint-Joost-Ten-Node with master teachers P. Braeke and H. Ottevaere.
In 1910 he took part in the great Brussels Exhibition.
He often paints around the Red Cloister (Auderghem) on the edge of the Sonian Forest, where he settled in 1934. He also painted in the South of France, in Saint-Tropez.

Born in Virginia, probably Norfolk, Julius Montalant is known for his drawings and paintings inspired by his travels on board navy ships. Attached to the USS St. Louis around 1844-45, he sketched ports of call he visited, including Brazil, Chile, New Zealand, Australia, and China. Many of his works are held in the Museum of the U.S. Naval Academy. Navy records indicate his rank as 'C. Clerk', which may mean that he held a civilian position.
During the 1850s he lived in Philadelphia, and in 1851-61 he exhibited at the Philadelphia Art Union and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Included were paintings of North America, Greece...

Chambers moved to Los Alamos, New Mexico, in the 1940s, where she raised her family and worked as a substitute teacher while her husband, William H. Chambers, worked at the Los Alamos National Laboratory.
Along with her artistic pursuits, Chambers was a passionate advocate for women's rights and education. She earned a PhD in History and Political Science from the University of New Mexico in 1974, later serving as a faculty member and dean at Colorado Women's College.
