New York City based wildlife and street photographer Viet Chu, captured this unusual black and white shot of three Zebras in Sayari Camp, Serengeti, Asilia Africa. Chu’s emphasis is to give us a glimpse of an everyday life in the wild, to inspire us with the strength, grace and necessary protection of wildlife.
As a world traveler for photographic assignments, Viet Chu finds beauty in life’s special moments in time, capturing each in his photographs. His work is a reflection of his journey’s and experiences. In his approach to capture an image, he utilizes traditional and non-traditional means of lighting and infuse it with an intuitive sensibility, which is then converged with emotional intelligence to create a simple net composition of shadows and light, of subject and background, of space and inter-space, all with the goal of stopping a moment of time that tells a story for the rest of time.
