Francisco Costa’s Sleek and Stylish NYC Apartment

This past weekend, we asked Calvin Klein‘s head designer Francisco Costa to shop 1stdibs and share a selection of his favorite items from our site. It’s no question that his picks reflect the artful, minimal style he brings to his designs. Perhaps unsurprisingly, his New York City apartment shares the same sense of well-edited restraint. Lucky for you, T Magazine visited the designer’s stylish midtown abode in 2008, capturing images of Costa’s precise, understated approach to interior design.

Click through the below gallery to see the designer’s sophisticated space that left us green—or in this case gray—with envy.

Did we mention that Costa shares this space with his longtime companion, John De Stefano, a horse trainer and manager? Hence the equine artwork. Photo: New York Times.
