Dealer Dispatch: House of Honey

1stdibs dealer and designer Tamara Kaye-Honey’s interiors have garnered pages-upon-pages of glossy coverage from the likes of Domino, Rue, Domaine, and Lucky. House of Honey, her Los Angeles-based firm, expertly combines contemporary and antique items in an eclectic manner they term “New Vintage.” Think tailored-but-feminine spaces that reflect directional design concepts without sacrificing warmth or livability.

Inspired by their distinctive brand of retro-chic élan, we asked Kaye-Honey to tell us a little bit more about her favorite piece from the House of Honey storefront.

“I’m obsessed with the iconic 1970s gilded lily tables by Arthur Court. They are so strong and sculptural yet add whimsy to any setting. I often use them in client projects for that unexpected yet sophisticated touch. I have been on the hunt for the table bases for years and have many shapes and sizes in my collection at this point! They are so versatile; you just add a custom glass top to suit the space and voila!—a one of a kind treasure!
