While there’s not necessarily a term for the opposite of sibling rivalry — sibling alliance? — the work of interior designers Kelli Ford and Kirsten Fitzgibbons is a good stand-in. The two sisters are partners in Kirsten Kelli, LLC, a decorating firm they founded in 1990 with offices in New York City, Dallas and Greenwich, Connecticut. Together, they mesh their perspectives to create work that is lush, dynamic and reflective of a singular, harmonious vision. Known for their deft use of color and ability to seamlessly integrate large-scale artworks into their interiors, Kirsten and Kelli have been featured in Architectural Digest, House Beautiful and Veranda. To celebrate the duo’s curated collection for 1stdibs, we asked the sisters to share 11 of their favorite interiors. Scroll down to see evidence of the power of strong family ties!
