  • Two exciting new showrooms have opened in New York. One is California favorite Lawson-Fenning’s first outlet on the East Coast. Sporting the brand’s signature vintage-modern style, the Noho space was designed by Josh Greene. The other, located on West 29th Street, is jointly owned by Studio Nordic and Past Lives Studio. It will feature Scandinavian design — Studio Nordic’s specialty — along with a variety of other styles, including French Art Deco and Italian modernism.
  • Dua Lipa’s love of vacationing is well known, and a recent photograph of the pop star in Sydney, Australia, revealed the bag she uses to schlep her stuff to the beach. Identified by Marie Claire as a Chanel 22, it’s chic without being too stuffy for a day of relaxation and roomy enough for a towel or two.
  • Conceptual artist CJ Hendry‘s latest exhibition features pieces inspired by Jeff Koons and his famous balloon animals. The show, titled “Keff Joons,” will feature 50 interactive sculptures, and it will be on view in at 50 Gold Street in Brooklyn’s Dumbo neighborhood from April 11 through April 20.
