After getting engaged last December, Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco (one of the Internet’s favorite couples) tied the knot this past weekend. Gomez is known for her classic looks, and her wedding-day attire was no exception. For the ceremony, in Santa Barbara, California, the actress, singer and Rare Beauty founder wore a gown custom-made by Ralph Lauren and earrings from Tiffany and Co., according to Vogue.
Gomez’s longtime photographer pal Petra Collins captured Gomez in the dress, satin with a halter neckline and delicate embroidery. Topped off by a bouquet of lilies of the valley, the ensemble was both wonderfully vintage and not at all old-fashioned. The platinum-and-diamond Tiffany and Co. earrings added a touch of glamour without competing for attention with the dress’s dimensional neckline. Gomez’s engagement ring, a marquise-cut diamond with a pavé band, is now complemented by a diamond-studded wedding band, as seen in Blanco’s Instagram post.
Blanco, for his part, diverged from his usual eccentric style and wore a black tuxedo, also by Ralph Lauren, with an ultra-flashy Jacob & Co. Ashoka-cut-diamond watch (a similar ladies’ version of the Jacob & Co. timepiece is currently for sale on 1stDibs).
