About the Item

Introduced to the house in the late 1970s, the butterfly quickly grew as a secondary signature to the Bottega Veneta name. Symbolizing femininity, change, and nature itself, the butterfly exudes an elegance and sophistication all on its own. Presumably from the late 70s this vintage Bottega Veneta silk scarf showcases an exquisite butterfly and jewel motif set against a vibrant green background. The intricate design includes richly detailed butterflies adorned with jewel-like patterns, surrounded by a flourishing arrangement of floral and vine accents. The border is framed with a delicate floral garland, adding a touch of elegance and symmetry to the piece. The scarf is finished with meticulously hand-rolled edges. Measurements: 35x 33 inches

Balenciaga Silk Blue Green Logo Print Scarf, 1990s
By Balenciaga
Located in Boca Raton, FL
Balenciaga has been heralded as a master of a variety of intricate techniques and elaborate detail, so it is no wonder that the house is regarded as one of the quintessential standards of luxury fashion to this day. Presumably from the 1990s, this silk challis scarf highlights the brand’s shift to a more modern, sleeker aesthetic. Cool tones of midnight blue and spruce-green create a balance for the white accents. The center double “B” motif adds a curvilinear contrast to the otherwise geometric design. A versatile accessory to add to any wardrobe, this Balenciaga scarf...

Vintage Bottega Veneta Sculptural Beaded Organza Bag
By Bottega Veneta
Located in Boca Raton, FL
Beaded handbags were all the rage for much of the 19th century. Called reticules, these small bags would carry only the barest of necessities and tended to be more of a decorative accessory than functional. This version by Bottega Veneta deconstructs the notion of the reticule, transforming it into a sculptural blend of wire and beading. Completely made by hand, silver wire is used to create an intricate webbed cage that acts as a frame for the double-layer organza pocket. Organza, which is woven from high twist silk fibers, is both beautiful and strong. Multi-colored glass beads bubble around the edges, with clusters of color grouping sporadically incorporated into the main body of the bag. A twisted wire handle arcs up from the top edge. This piece embodies the detailed attention to handcraft that is synonymous with the longtime Italian brand. Measurements: Height: 6 inches Width: 9 inches Depth: 2 inches Handle height: 6 inches This this rare and unique vintage Bottega bag...
