Circa 1980s, this suit is crafted from a wonderful wool bouclé in a vibrant shade of tangerine orange. The fabric has a beautiful slub to it. The jacket is complete with Mugler's signature exaggerated lapels, with a deep V giving way to a nipped waist, creating a flattering hourglass shape, along with the dropped shoulders. The jacket has a cropped silhouette making it perfect for mixing and layering with so many other pieces. This set is so well made, with so many intricate design details: flattering topstitching at the lapels and the curved detail at the hem accentuate the shapes. The skirt has a very fitted shape, with a high waist and shaping seams down the front and darts at the back.
