Japanese Bronze and Champ Leve Censer

About the Item

Japanese bronze and champleve censer jar. Large elephant handles and a standing elephant finial on the top lid. Six hexagonal sides. Bronze with fine details ground in the archaic style. The enamel ground with an elaborate scene of dragons, demons and flaming pearls. Dark aged patina, circa 1900.
