We are delighted to offer for sale this extremely well-made and highly collectable Chinese Export Soapstone room divider folding screen depicting court beauties A truly stunning and exquisitely made piece, I’ve not seen one with this finish before, the court beauties are rare, it really makes a change and brings a lot more light and presents to the piece. It’s finished with gold to the boarders which again gives it that Emperors palace charisma. The main figures are all hand carved from soapstone which has been expertly chosen based on the colour and size, this truly is the nicest example I have come across and worthy of any home Condition we have deep cleaned, hand condition waxed and hand polished it from top to bottom, it will have some age and use related patina marks here and there as you would expect. Please note there are some losses mostly to the left panel, this has been reflected in the price.
