About the Item
An elegant and high quality pair of French mid 19th century Louis XVI st. white Carrara marble and Ormolu candelabras. Each stunning candelabras is raised by a square marble base above four topie shaped Ormolu supports. Above is a white Carrara urn decorated by richly chased floral garlands joined by two round handles on each side. Above are the four 'C' scrolled twisted designed arms which are decorated with acanthus leaves. At the center of the four arms is a fifth arm which has a removable eternal flame finial, thus rendering it into a candle cup. Finely detailed and with original gilding throughout.
