French 19th Century Louis XVI Style Marble and Ormolu Two-Arm Candelabras
About the Item
A charming and most elegant pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. white Carrara marble and ormolu two arm candelabras. Each candelabra is raised by fine topie shaped feet below the striking square white Carrara marble bases with most decorative cut corners and wrap around foliate bands. The central supports display exceptional and most unique designs with lovely wrap around berried laurel wreaths and luxuriant blooming flowers leading up to the eternal flame finials. Each of the arms displays most elegant lightly curved designs adorned with richly chased acanthus leaves and ending in charming foliate candle cups.
