Pair of French 19th Louis XVI Style Blue Turquin and Ormolu Two-Arm Candelabras
About the Item
A fine pair of French 19th Louis XVI st. Bleu Turquin and ormolu two arm candelabras. Each candelabra is raised by a circular Bleu Turquin base decorated with a beaded ormolu band. At the center is a richly chased berried floral rosette leading up to two wonderfully executed foliate arms in a stunning satin and burnished finish. Each candle cup displays fine foliate and beaded patterns and a beautiful etched design. All original gilt throughout. Can be electrified to create a pair of lamps.
