The waisted case decorated throughout with an Aventurine lacquer, pierced foliate mounts in gilded bronze, glazed sides, the front featuring a delicate bronze scene of Helios in his chariot, drawn by four steeds. Roman hour and Arabic minute numerals. Measures: Height: 41” total 12” (bracket) 29” (clock) Width: 18” Depth: 10”.
