Monumental Weed Holder by Frank Lloyd Wright for Minic Accessories Made from mahogany with a copper insert and matching copper label, this tall weed holder was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and produced by Valentine Minnich of Minic Accessories in 1953. The form is based on a slender design Wright created around 1895. It retains the original manufacturer’s label and comes from a notable private collection. A similar example is held in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
