About the Item
Anthracite black glazed and vertically incised vase designed and produced by ceramic artist Ejvind Nielsen in the small Danish town of Hvidovre in the 1960s. Nielsen is known for his simple, soft shapes and glazes in subtle natural tones of which this piece is a beautiful example. In the organic style of Saxbo, Arne Bang, Marianne Starck and Eva Stæhr Nielsen.
Signature on base. Beautiful vintage condition.
