Andersson for Wallåkra 1950s Blackish Brown Ceramic Vase
About the Item
Muted blackish dark brown glazed stoneware vase with precise and narrow vertically incised lined pattern band around the top of the belly. Soft rounded bottle shape with slender neck and narrow base. Inscribed under base. Designed by ceramic artist Arthur Andersson for Wallåkra Stenkärlsfabrik. Noteworthy handmade Swedish midcentury modern piece manufactured in the time of Axel Salto, Saxbo, Carl-Harry Stålhane and Arne Bang.
Excellent - close to mint - condition.
